Growing up we moved quite a bit. Life was a struggle, and we didn't have the finest of things, but a couple of times a year, I would open the door, and my mom would have completely redesigned the entire apartment
while we were at school. I was always in awe of how just by repositioning furniture & accessories, our home felt...homey...it felt new. This sparked a lifelong obsession with creating cozy, inviting environments.
At the of age 19, I discovered my first thrift store, and it changed my destiny. I never went without again, nor did my children once I started my family. Over the years, family, friends and neighbors, have happily benefitted from my enthusiasm to better their dwellings!​
As a professional entertainer, my travels and love of interacting with people introduced me to a world of diversity. Like a sponge I absorbed inspiration from every designer (whether for sets, events or interior.
Add to that my decades fascination with television makeover shows, and the plethora of amazing hacks now shared across the internet, and I am in creative heaven. Mostly my goal is to show everyday people that they can live in an exciting and fulfilling space, without going broke.

Maui
After 25 years of performing and loving this island, I moved here in 2022. On August 8, 2023, (8.08) Maui experienced an historic tragedy with two major fires. In Lahaina, on the west side where I reside, with no power, cell or internet, the Napili Plaza hub (one of many) become a blessed lifeline. I am forever inspired by the aloha spirit, and the humanity that came together as we helped each other through the devastation. It has motivated me to give back to the island and be a part of the revival.
