Growing up we moved quite a bit. and although we didn't have the finest of things, a few times a year I'd come home from school, open the door, and my mom {Katie) would have completely redesigned the entire apartment! Each time, I was awestruck by how she took the same furnishings and home goods, shifted and repositioned them, and our home felt completely renewed! She had the decorator knack and eye! Before she passed in 2024, I got to thank her for this skill and passion and share my memories. She told me that she got it from her mother! So they sparked my lifelong obsession with before & after's and creating cozy, welcoming environments. 

Nineteen and living on my own, I stumbled across my first thrift store, and it changed my destiny.
By purchasing pre-owned and discounted goods, I could afford to have really nice things, take care of my growing family and bless others by showing them how to bargain shop. I was proudly given the title of "Bargain Queen", and it was the name I used for my 2016 radio show on KUHS Denver.
For decades, family, friends and neighbors have happily benefitted from my eye for decorating, and enthusiasm to better their digs!​ I rarely charged and was blessed, to just hon my craft, while relieving their stress and transforming lives. 

A Renaissance woman, I am a professional entertainer by trade. My travels and love of interacting with people introduced me to a world of diversity and inclusion. I learned something from every designer, whether for set design, events or home interiors. I enjoy a 45-year background in theater, front and back of the house, and recently won the Broadway World/Hawaii 2024 award for Best Cabaret, where I decorated the set for all 17 performances. Add to that my decades fascination with television makeover shows, and the plethora of amazing hacks now shared across the internet, and I am in creative heaven! During the pandemic, I went to school online and got certified as a professional organizer.

Maui
After 25 years as a visiting performer and loving this island, I relocated here in 2022. On August 8, 2023, (8.08) Maui experienced an historic tragedy with two major fires. In Lahaina, on the west side where I reside, with no power, cell or internet, the Napili Plaza hub (one of many) become a blessed lifeline. I am forever inspired by the aloha spirit, and the humanity that came together as we helped each other through the devastation. It has motivated me, and my new purpose is to give back to the island and be a part of the revival.
