Full Home Set-up 

My project showcase is my new, cozy studio rental hale (home).
I prayed for a sanctuary near the ocean, that I could decorate to my taste while documenting my redesign portfolio. I had a blast making this house a home. 

The design style reflects my personal taste, which is a mix of

  • traditional

  • cultural

  • contemporary

  • glam

  • bohemian 

  • coastal/island style

My goal is to help people enhance their lives by showing how recycled home decor can create the home of their dreams. To be transparent, I’m sharing my purchase board below, to show how I find quality pieces for a fraction of their original cost. I treasure hunt at spots all over beautiful Maui and share those frugal insights with my clients. All the furnishings and home goods pictured were either thrifted, gifted, or found online through my favorite online source.

The Assignment 

  • Decorate the two levels of space, without painting over the newly applied, white glossy paint located throughout the unit.

  • Save by using vetted pre-owned, thrifted and discounted goods.
